| OVA Series |
Under Construction! This page will deal with the new Hellsing OVA Series. The first 3 volumes of the OVA Series are out in the USA on DVD (volume 4 out shortly in Japan). The Limited Edition OVAs are on the right and come in a metal holder with 2 disks and either a wall plaque figure or story board book full of sketches. The OVA Series will consist of 10 volumes corresponding to the 10 Manga volumes. ){kind=small} Episode GuideOVA IThe first OVA opens with a vampire priest is on the loose in Cheddar intertwined with Integra's finding Alucard in the dungeons as a child. Back in the "present" many of the arresting officers have been killed, as well as an elite force named D11. Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing of the Hellsing Organization takes pleasure in announcing that she has sent only one man to clean up - a more powerful vampire from the Hellsing menagerie. Seras Victoria, a member of D11, is caught in the crossfire, turned by Alucard and recruited into the Hellsing Organization. Then a pair of teenage vampires cutting a swathe of bloody destruction across England becomes her first target as a member of Hellsing. Their next assignment is to clear the small Irish town of Badrick of the ghoul/vampire infestation when they meet Vatican Section XIII special assassin Paladin Alexander Anderson. It doesn’t look good for Seras when Alucard loses his head to Anderson until Integra shows up to send Anderson packing. In a turn of events it is Alucard who sends the regenerating priest packing. OVA IIThe second OVA opens with Alucard having a dream about his capture by Abraham Van Helsing. Integra, meanwhile, is holding a Round Table Conference on the 3rd floor of Hellsing Manor discussing with the other nights the problem of the freak computer chip that turns humans into artificial vampires. Outside the Manor, the Valentine Brothers are getting ready to attack with a bus load of heavily armed ghouls. Once the fighting starts it is action and blood all over the place. The younger brother Jan goes after Integra and the knights, while older brother Luke goes after Alucard. The battle rages on both fields and makes for quite a show. Hellsing comes out on top, but not without the loss of most of their men (humans that is). OVA IIIThe third OVA we meet Pip and the Wild Geese wrapping up their most recent assignment. They move on to join Hellsing where they meet real vampires Seras and Alucard (quite the humorous moment). Vatican Section XIII invites Integra to a meeting to discuss what they know about Millennium. Integra decides to send Pip, Alucard and Seras to South America (Rio no less) to investigate. They hardly arrived when they are attacked and tons of action, blood and guts are delivered. One of Millennium’s main men Tubalcane Alhambra pits himself against Alucard in a battle royal. With Seras’ help Alhambra is defeated and Millennium’s plans are learned by Alucard. Now to find a way back to England! OVA IVThe fourth OVA has several things going on in the opening: Seras and Pip chatting, Maxwell interrogating a fellow priest and Alucard trying to make Integra have a stroke. Anderson visits Alucard, Pip and Seras delivering a few bows and a pass to a private jet to take the trio back to England to report to the Queen, Integra, The Round Table Knights and Iscariot. The HMS Eagle is hijacked and Alucard is sent to deal with the Vampires on board. Enter Rip Van Winkle, whose singing voice in the Japanese version is very interesting. Another action packed battle between Alucard and a Millennium agent and the OVA ends with a very long-winded speech by the Major.
